The Anticurriculum workshop invites participants to rethink the concept of failure in the context of Western genealogies and the neoliberal, capitalist-driven world, where competition and achievement are often celebrated above all else. Rather than adhering to traditional norms, this workshop encourages the creation of an alternative CV—one that embraces the unconventional moments, the detours, and the so-called “failures” that have shaped who we are. These are the moments that don’t fit on a conventional CV but have been essential to our personal growth and learning. By embracing and valuing these overlooked experiences, the workshop creates space for reflection, allowing us to understand failure as an essential part of development, rather than something to be feared or avoided.
